Another Exhibition Result

Guildford A.C. looked solid again in an exhibition contest against a very strong Coquitlam/Metro-Ford Euro squad. A.C. had to do some quick learning as they were playing 11-aside instead of their regular 8v8 format. Guildford looked a little unfamiliar with the structure of the bigger game but managed to get by reasonably well on their talent.

CMF Euro played a much more organized game than A.C., being much for familiar with the 11v11 game. Guildford opened the scoring on a breakaway that was converted for the 1-0 lead. Shortly after A.C. added another marker for the 2-0 lead.

CMF responded to bring the game within 1 goal but A.C. built their lead back to 3-1 on another break that was put past the Euro keeper to restore the two goal lead. Final score 3-1.

A.C. will take on Euro again on June 17th, this time playing 8v8.
